Comments:

Syracuse visited Boston College for its first ACC game of the season. Buddy Boeheim returned to the lineup after missing the previous three games due to Covid-19 guidelines, and his impact was immediately felt. Boeheim would make two early three point baskets, and the Orange would gain a early lead it would never relinquish.

The Orange would set a school record with sixteen made three point field goals on its way to its largest margin of victory in ACC play with a 38 point win. All five Orange starters would score double digits, with Alan Griffin leading the way with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Marek Dolezaj demonstrated some masterful passing, and Quincy Guerrier dominated the first half of the game easily scoring 14 points.

Buddy Boeheim would also score his 746th career point, allowing him to surpass his father Jim Boeheim on the all-time Syracuse scoring list.

There were no fans in attendence due to Covid-19 restrictions.
