Peter Wynne was a reserve center for Syracuse basketball for two seasons. He was a big bruising center with a medium range jump shot.
Wynne came to Syracuse on a scholarship and was expected to battle with fellow freshman Andre Hawkins for the starting center position vacated by Danny Schayes. Hawkins would win that battle, and Wynne would never fully adjust to the college game.
Wynne left the team in September of his junior year to focus of academics. He would graduate from Syracuse University in 1985 with a degree in Speech Communications.
