Anthony Harris was reserve guard for one season for Syracuse basketball.
Harris was a highly recruited guard out of Connecticut, a two time Parade All-American, where he scored 2491 points in his career. He averaged 33.4 points per game his senior season at Danbury High School. He was an excellent shooter in high school.
Harris arrived at Syracuse overweight and not in condition to play. He struggled on defense his freshman year. He had moments of great play; he scored 14 points in his first collegiate game, and had seven assists against Lafayette. However, he would end up playing only 220 minutes over the course of the season.
Harris would struggle academically, and leave Syracuse after his freshman season. He would later play basketball for Marshalltown Community College in Iowa.
