Walt Davey Syracuse Orangemen BasketballDavey attended Dickinson Seminary in Williamsport, PA after completing high school. He would play forward for the Dickinson basketball team, quarterback for the football team and ran the hurdles for the track team.

Upon coming to Syracuse, Davey would tryout and earn positions on both the football and basketball team. He would be the backup quarterback on the football team.
