Ross Bibbens was a reserve guard for Syracuse basketball for three seasons.
Bibbens played one game for the varsity his sophomore season. He would enlist in the Marine Aviation Rerserve Corps in July 1918 and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. While he was stationed in Miami for training, Bibbens saved the life of a pilot who was in a sea plane that was on fire in the bay and sinking.
Bibbens would return to Syracuse and play basketball for two more seasons.
Bibbens passed away in July 1970.
