John Beaulieu was a good all around athlete. He went to Tilton Junior College after graduating high school, and then received a football scholarship to Syracuse. Beaulieu would play on the football, boxing and basketball teams.

John Julian BeaulieuBeaulieu was only on the Syracuse varsity basketball team his senior year. He would play in only one game, which was the Colgate game.

Beaulieu would server in the U.S. Army following graduation, and would stay in the military until retiring in 1980 as a Colonel. Beaulieu would serve in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.[2]

He would be a teacher at this alma mater Lowell High school for several years, teaching health, physical education and military drill [1][2]. Beaulieu passed away in 2007.
