A two time All-America selection, Bob Marcus captained the Orangemen in 1918-1919. Marcus was known for his defensive abilities.
Marcus was a reserve center his first season. He was a stocky player with great strength. His second season, Eddie Dollard moved Marcus to guard to utilize his defensive abilities.
